Temporary Parking Changes at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre

Temporary changes to street parking around the Dauphin Regional Health Centre are in place to help provide additional parking for patients while reconstruction continues following the flooding.

The City of Dauphin is working with the Health Centre to maximize available patient parking in the surrounding area while maintaining safe and unobstructed access for emergency and ambulance services.

Temporary parking changes include:

• 3rd Street SW: Two-sided parking is permitted from 6th Avenue SW north to 4th Avenue SW, and from 7th Avenue SW south to Jackson Street.
• 6th and 7th Avenues SW: The two-hour parking restrictions have been temporarily lifted along the first block to provide additional parking for patients.
• 3rd Street SW in front of the hospital ramp: Street parking is not permitted immediately in front of the ramp.
• Main Entrance: The hospital's main entrance is being used for Emergency Department and Diagnostic Services drop-off and pick-up. Parking in front of the ambulance entrance doors is prohibited.

Drivers are asked to pay close attention to posted signage when parking in the area and allow additional time to find parking when visiting the Health Centre.

These changes are temporary and may be adjusted as reconstruction progresses and parking needs change.
