Dauphin Neighbourhood Renewal
Dauphin Neighbourhood Renewal has been functioning within the City of Dauphin since December 2007 and was granted incorporation status as a non-profit organization in January 2009. DNRC is a program under the sponsorship of the MB government through the Neighbourhoods Alive! initiative. The mandate of the program is to foster community development in neighbourhood capacity building, neighbourhood stability, neighbourhood economic development and neighbourhood well-being.
The work of Dauphin Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation is overseen by a board of dedicated volunteer citizens who meet monthly to plan and guide the work. Their vision is to build a healthy community by empowering our neighbourhood through collaboration and leadership. They have chosen to work on five main areas of emphasis; community pride, economic development, housing, recreation/green space and youth.
