Dauphin provides a wide range of educational opportunities for all ages. It is the administrative centre for Mountain View School Division (MVSD), which is geographically, one of the largest school divisions in Manitoba. Serving approximately 3,300 students, MVSD has 16 schools total. There are six Kindergarten to Grade 6 elementary schools throughout MVSD, while in Dauphin, a Kindergarten to Grade 6 school offers a French Immersion program and another offers a Ukrainian Bilingual program.
The Regional Comprehensive Secondary High School (DRCSS) in Dauphin is one of six schools offering high school courses. It also offers 10 senior years technical vocational education programs and apprenticeships. The division has a Talent Development Centre, as well, offering adult and alternative programming. The DRCSS houses Campus Manitoba, a consortium of six public post-secondary institutions in Manitoba, as well as BUNTEP, the Brandon University Northern Teacher Education Program.
Dauphin is home to Assiniboine Community College (ACC), offering accredited programs, which apply to other post secondary institutions. ACC Parkland Campus also offers an extensive selection of continuing studies courses and programs in the evenings.
Academy of Learning is considered one of the largest, private post-secondary career colleges with over 90 campuses across Canada as well as in Dauphin. It specializes in computer applications, information technology, business skills, healthcare, as well as graphics and web design training.
With the understanding that you are never too old to learn, community and adult education classes, as well as English as an additional language classes, are available throughout Dauphin.
