The Parkland is Dauphin’s playground. With a crisscross of trails for walking, running, cycling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or snowmobiling Dauphinites are busy every season of the year.

The community is centrally located between three of the most scenic and challenging golf courses. Surrounded by deep, clear lakes and fast flowing streams the area boasts of trophy fish in half dozen species or more.

Dauphin is a passionate supporter of its Junior A hockey team, the Dauphin Kings in the 2,000-seat Credit Union Place. Between games, many residents will be found in the winter sunshine skating, ice fishing or tobogganing.

There are many opportunities and adventures in the Dauphin area for the hunting enthusiast with some of the largest whitetail deer, and black bear in North America.

The community is home to friendly and experienced outfitters and guides offering a variety of experiences ranging from hunting, fishing, photography, nature, bird watching, horseback riding or kayaking tours.
