New Traffic Signal Installation Set to Begin

Manitoba Infrastructure has advised the City of Dauphin that work will begin on the installation of new traffic signals at the corner of Main Street South and 1st Avenue South on Monday, October 16th.  The initial work will involve the removal of the existing street lights, so concrete and electrical work can proceed in advance of the new traffic signals being installed.  Once the electrical work is completed and the poured concrete has cured sufficiently, the traffic signals will be installed and programmed.  The timing or date of their installation is not known at this time.
