As of Friday, November 13, 2020, City Hall (100 Main Street South) remains open to the public for essential/important services that cannot easily be performed by other means. We encourage residents to call City Hall at 204-622-3200 to determine if your needs can be met without in-person contact. Please remember that payments may be made via cheque or cash using the drop-box located at the north/main entrance of door, mail, or through your financial institution. Appointments may be scheduled with the appropriate personnel if necessary. 

The City Shop (22 Jackson Street) and Water Treatment Plant will remain closed to the general public; however, all operations and services will continue to take place. The Waste Disposal Site will operate as usual with waste and recycling days remaining as scheduled.

The Fire Hall (121 – 2nd Street NW) will be closed to the general public; however, fire protection services will operate as usual. 


Mental Health Support

Caring for your mental is vital during these difficult times. For those of us who need support, the Province of Manitoba has set up specialized mental health supports for those experiencing difficulty during the COVID-19 pandemic. Information on Re-Opening Buildings

The Office of Drinking Water has encouraged all water system owners to review information on re-opening businesses, developed by the Canadian Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA). The City of Dauphin would like to draw attention to this information, to any business or individual that is looking to re-open a building which has been vacant due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
