City Distributing Free Mini Recycling Bins to Homes

The City of Dauphin, in cooperation with the Canadian Beverage Container Recycling Association (CBCRA) will be distributing a small recycling bin to all single family residences in the City. The CBCRA has provided free to the City, over 3000 small recycling bins to distribute to our residents. The bins can be used in your home to make recycling even easier. The bin is small and lightweight and can be used in any room in your home to help collect recyclables and then easily transport them to your rolling container. Dauphin’s recycling program has grown immensely in the last few years and we hope to continue that momentum. The CBCRA has recognized the work and community involvement in our recycling efforts and once again has asked to partner with us to help Dauphin to become a leader in sustainability.

City staff will be delivering the bins to homes starting on April 30, beginning with Day 1 and working through to Day 4. Please watch for your bin’s arrival.
